About Lowell Farms

Lowell Farms is named after William “Bull” Lowell, who grew “Indian hemp” on his California craft farm in 1909. Unfortunately, anti-marijuana activist Henry J. Finger aided in the passage of California’s 1913 Poison Act, which enabled him to shut down Lowell’s farm and throw Bull in jail.

Bull believed in liberty to enjoy the benefits of the cannabis plant, and his legacy continues. At Lowell Farms, Bull Lowell’s commitment to freedom and growing the best cannabis is evident even today.
